EW just wrote an artical stating that Actors, Writers and Directors unions are planing on striking if they don't get more money for DVD and merchendise. Of course the studios are saying they can't aford to give them more money. It stated that they will meet in July some time. If they end up getting more money shouldn't cinematographers and editors get more as well?

I agree with Brad, Netflix is a great company, and its a lot cheaper then rental stores.

Terminator 4?
William A Chapman Jr replied to William A Chapman Jr's topic in In Production / Behind the Scenes
Every one forgot about "last action hero" -
I noticed that imdb posted that T4 is in production ( for a 2009 release?) but they really did not give any real information, Dose any one know about T4 and weather or not Arnold will be in it? Is that why they have it as a 2009 release waiting for him to leave office and start acting again.

Are there any magazines like AC or ICG directed towards editing feature films, I subscribe to "cinema editor" the ACE mag. I was wondering if there are others? Also is there any Pro forums for editors similar to this one?

Look at all the people he inspired with the SW films, if any thing he made people push for things they thought could not be done at the time. -
The Transformers' Newest Trailer

Steven Speilburg is also adding a lot of input not just producing. I just read the article in cinema editor that Steven Speilburg is calling alot of the shots. Bay may be directing but Speilburg has the final say. Paul Rubell and glen Scantlebury ( the editors) said Speilburg is on the set and in the editing room all the time. -
What's the worst movie you've ever seen?
William A Chapman Jr replied to James Steven Beverly's topic in Off Topic
There was a movie in the 80's called "Eat and Run" now thats a bad movie -
It actually started with me name, My business name is Chapman Photography so I registered with that name, and I was told since I don't advertise with student film maker I can not use that name, So I said fine go a head and change it to my name. He said no and changed it to vphotography. When I tried to log in it said failed so I emailed them and I was told that I was banned/flagged because my post title had nothing to do with the show on the lot. I emailed him back and explained to him that it did and he said oh sorry, good luck in the future. Till this day I can't log in at that site. Thats fine though because David Mullen is on this site as well and in my opion its a lot better.

William A Chapman Jr replied to Chris Graham's topic in General Discussion
As far as the last 3 Star wars films Episode 1, 2 and 3, I think 2 was better story wise and 3 was better fx wise, I thought 1 was horrible, just my opion. -
