Festival Press Kit
Elisabeth Nagy replied to Bill DiPietra's topic in Business Practices & Producing
Check with the festival, do they provide assistence? maybe hire somebody at location to help you with local media. they do have to connections, which you might not get otherwise. Usually: short synopsis, longer synopsis, credits (if possible all of the credits, incl. aspect ratio etc pp), a portrait of yourself (300 dpi and web-resolution), a list of what actually is on the production stills), some production notes. don´t forget about the radio and TV-stations, tho I have only experience on what is needed for print. -
Favourite Music Videos
Elisabeth Nagy replied to Andy_Alderslade's topic in On Screen / Reviews & Observations
Haven´t watched the Six Days videoclip for a while. Wanted to revisit it. Geez, I am so tired of getting the "This video is not available in your country."-message. Same happens with the Pink video, Evanescence and Kylie Minogue. -
Why wasn´t I there? Yeah, probably because it was in the small room and there was no chance to get in. Can´t imagine any other reason. Sorry. Normally I tape every seminar/conference I get in.

Congratulation for the bronze tadpole!
-
I am sure the award list will be up soon, just noting down the main competition winners: Bronze Frog - Rainer Klausmann for "The Baader Meinhof Complex" Silver Frog - Cesar Charlone for "Blindness" Golden Frog - Anthony Dod Mantle for "Slumdog Millionaire". Never have I experienced such a frenetic audience applause like when the end credits of "Slumdog Millionaire" were on screen.

Camerimage Music Video Cinematography Awards
Elisabeth Nagy replied to Daniel Pearl ASC's topic in General Discussion
Thank you for posting the links to better quality versions here. Since I don´t watch music videos on television anymore and I don´t have so much online time to go hunting for them on the internet, it would be a good idea to post such links regularly. Okay, I better check this board more frequently... -

I love lists and I do lists all the time. Movie-lists change constantly, but all time favourites are hard to share, I do have films on that list, which probably only mean something to people with a similar background. uh, obvious. Just a few from the list: Az ötödik pecsét (Zoltán Fábri, 1976 - The Fifth Seal) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075467/ Nárcisz és Psyché (Gábor Bódy, 1980 - Psyche) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081254/ La double vie de Véronique (Krzysztof Kieslowski, 1991) Trys dienos (Sharunas Bartas, 1991 - Three Days) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103132/ Chung Hing sam lam (Kar Wai Wong, 1994 - Chungking Express) De vliegende Hollander (Jos Stelling, 1995)
