  1. My passion are ancient/medieval movies (sometimes Greek mythological), and World War II movies. I think World War II movies require immense skill to master because of the coloring. If you ever notice in Saving Private Ryan, whenever a major fight/battle is about to come up, the colors are all dull, and the characters' faces are all pale. It was excellently done. And another film I admire is Gladiator. It was made soo well.
  2. So independent filmmakers make a movie of their choice, with their own budgets and guidelines, and then later try and sell that movie? And the other filmmakers are hired to make a movie from the beginning with a budget, etc..?
  3. Hey all. I was wondering what the difference between an independent filmmaker and a.. well... normal one is. Thanks, Challenge.
  4. Heya Ev1lButler! I'm in highschool, and I am hoping to pursue a career in Directing / Cinematography. You should send me an e-mail, and we can chat sometime. ChallengeMinus@gmail.com Thanks! Challenge.
  5. Hello all. My dream is to become a director, yet I have been getting scared of late because I've heard it is hard to become one. I am worried that as being a director, I will be unable to support myself until I make it big. How hard is it to become a known director such as Ridley Scott, Steven Spieldberg, and / or Peter Jackson? What are your goals and how do you feal about them? Thanks for your support.
