  5. Selling a pair of carbon fiber rods. It is 15mm in diameter, it is 50cm long . I can fit my Redrock focus on it, my Cinevate 15mm universal block and even my Cavision support set on them. (see pictures below) I show you guys this because there are alot of companies that sell rods that doesn't fit most of the standard gears that we video or film people use. Rods are in very good condition. These are my spares so I haven't used them at all, They came straight from the factory. I'm asking 70euros shipped within Europe. for elsewhere add 5 euros more for shipping. Still cheaper then you buy from Cinevate brand new.( $114 (45cm)+ at least $30 shipping) Please note : only a pair of rods are for sale, the rest are only for illustration purpose. It has wall thickness of 2mm, thicker then the Cavision 25cm rods that I have. Carbon is stiffer then steel. I have no vibration when using my Letus extreme or Brevis on them. Paypal (verified) or bank transfer within E.U accepted. Contact me at davidchiaemail@yahoo.com

  9. I can say that after owning the Original Brevis mount and Geardear lens mount and Cavision lens mount. I came up with this solution. The rubber paddings absolbs the vibration of the Brevis or the Letus and also grips the Lens . I made a 2 extra lens support . I'm currently using two and will be also using it for my Letus extreme that is coming. Brevis to rail mount ( modified) from the Cinevate Universal Blocks (15mm standard) I use it as a long lens support and also as my Brevis support. It is rubber padded so it does not scratch the Brevis , Letus or lenses and it is also height adjustable (45mm to 110mm measured from the top of the block to the centre of the lens). It is more then enough for matte box or follow focus unit. It is also galvanized to make it black not spray painted. The diameter of the clamp is between 75mm - 80mm but because of the rubber padding surrounding it . It clamps between 73mm - 78mm. Thus making it perfect to clamp even the Letus Economy (76mm) down on to rails . (The Clamp comes in different sizes , I can even get it up to 95mm , just let me know.) It is fully lockable with an internal locking screw and nut so that it doesn't turn or tilt. I will also throw in a HEX key for the locking down of the screw. 100euros for the mount set, Free shiping within Germany .For people in the E.U, just add 7euros more for registered mail .people in the U.S add 10euros more for registered mail. The clamp unit on the top right corner of the picture is what you will get Paypal only, I'm a verified paypal account holder. You can get it me at davidchiaemail@yahoo.com
  10. someone did a test on a proper chart here. But I ilke to see how the Bokeh handles the light. doesn it have the glow or flare. when the light is in the background. http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t...067&page=11
  11. There seem to be abit, but can't really see the glow, it just seem over exposed, maybe if you can some night shots are evening shoots with some street lights or car lights will be great. especially if they are in the background. I really love to see how it handles bokeh handles the light. Are you using the same lens or a different lens.
  12. I think you mean Letus Extreme for 1200 The Brevis is also coming out with a Flip uint. What is good about the Brevis is that it allows you to upgrade as it improves. The oldest Brevis on the market can be upgraded to use the newest technology Cinevate has to offer. Hence making it cheaper on the long run. Where as the Letus is also good, but you can't really upgrade it . The older Letus seem to be out of favour after the arrival of the Letus Extreme. If you want to shoot in high shutter speed, go for the SGPro, the vibrating adapters ( Brevis , Letus) have limations in high shutter speed. The Best combo would be the SGPRO with the Brevis flip unit. Yes you can buy only the flip unit from Cinevate and fit it on the SGPRO. That way you get something that can handle high shutter speed and also a flip unit. Peolpe might argue that the Brevis or the Letus can go without rails and light for gun & go. Yes it can . But most adapters needs the use of a matte box, with N.D filters and a follow focus to give good results. And if it is not a flip unit, you need to mount a monitor for focusing and framing. That way , you still have to put it on rods and it is as heavy or close as the SGPRO.
  13. It is a well know fact that the HVX is off center. A lot of Brevis user with the HVX have that problem too.
  14. Thank you very much for the efford, It is a very good inside to the adapter. Can you do some more still shoots with light in the background with different lenses. The glow or flare is not very promising for this adapter. I hope it is just your lens that you are using that is causing these glows and flares . Do you have another kind of 35mm adapter that you can use your canon lens that you were using for the Letus Extreme with. Just to make sure that it is not the adapter but the lens that is causing the glow and flare.
