  1. Nice timing of you to ask this because I just received 2 rolls in DS8 of this very film! From what I gathered, E6 was problematic? I've seen some results in C41 but of course as a negative.
  2. Yes, I didn't even want to try to figure out the costs of 100ft after reading that!
  3. Well, we got Ektachrome! I'm sure along with many other forum members, would love to see some pics of this rarity mounted on your 7008S Glenn!
  4. Merci Jean! I have manuals for B8L & D8L but couldn't find that info for the life of me!
  5. Hoping someone could tell me how long the B series are suppose to run at 18FPS on a full wind? Cheers!
  6. I thought the biggest problem was compression
  7. 10mm Switar AR would probably be easy to find and not too expensive option.
  8. Yes! I have dealt with that seller and can recommend as well! I purchased a battery for my EBM grip!

  10. Bump for the last few hours! Still some great deals!
  11. Reducing my Bolex 8mm stash! Great deals! https://www.ebay.com/sch/analogfilms/m.html?_trksid=p3692 Thanks for looking, and regards! Todd
  12. Pretty sure its made by Eumig, was made for later Bolex Super 8 cameras that were also made by Eumig. I have one and want to try it on front of a Leicina 10mm Cinegon, but need appropriate setup ring.
  13. I cover the holes back up when not in use, seems to help!
  14. Canon and Elmo made a few single 8 cameras based on the same super 8 models. I always lusted for a Canon 518sv for Single 8. I actually have one last Fujichrome R25N in the freezer!
  15. Robert, Are you guys only developing as a negative? No B&W reversal?
  16. Its been discussed before that Fomapan uses different times than Tri X, and I cannot remember which lab, maybe Spectra, does special runs with Fomapan.
  17. Plenty of 8mm and Double Super 8 in small reels through B&H and the like. 16mm or 100ft in 8mm are hard to come by in the States, could order through Macodirect. https://www.macodirect.de/en/film/cine-films/1721/fomapan-r-100-perforated-on-one-side-16mm-x-30.5m?c=616
  18. If you can afford it go for it! Those Switars are the best of them! If its been converted to Super 16, it would be a no brainer! But I do agree with Simon about the 400ft mags, motor, etc. If you plan on shooting reversal films, then Regular 16mm, and a Rex 4 would be my choice!
  19. I agree with you Andries about them not being awkward! Its just most people don't agree, probably based on not actually using them. Remember you can use the grip from the Telyt lenses on your Leicina! Can use a cable, or if you can find one, the electric release!
  20. Problem is more often than not, you lose features with compactness. Canon 310xl/514xl are probably the best bet, if you're ok with 18fps.
  21. If you can get passed their awkward ergonomics, I would recommend either Leicina Super or RT-1. Built like tanks, can handle any film speed and manual controls.
  22. If you do not mind shipping to Canada, I would highly recommend our very own Jean-Louis Seguin!
