  1. I had one, they're nice, but no 24fps. So I sold it and got the XLS version.
  2. Well, you can see here how much is involved just getting to the shutter assembly, http://cinetinker.blogspot.com.au/2013/12/beaulieu-4008-zmii.html Thanks to forum member Dom for the excellent page.
  3. That last video where they shot 200D @100 looked pretty good as far as grain, but the jitter!
  4. Seeing if anyone has some of this stock they wouldn't mind parting with. In the States preferably. Just PM me here!
  5. Forum member on fimshooting.com is having some Vision films as well as Tri X perfed for 8mm here: http://www.filmshooting.com/scripts/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=26836
  6. Retro 8 has Single 8 with processing for 3200 yen, thats $26.36 with exchange rate a cassette!
  7. Does Bernie still service Beauliues in the States? How about Duall?
  8. Beaulieu 4004ZM2 'Jubilee' Model with Angenieux 6-80mm f1.1.4
  9. Is it just the eyepiece itself? Something internal to the viewfinder? Jean-Louis? Dom?
  10. 60 pages for your reading pleasure, of people doing just that! http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52426
  11. Thinning my collection! All cameras have been used by me, but probably not in the last few years. I usually grab my Bolex's or Beaulieu's. The real gem in this lot is the 512 Cine Zoom with Tele converter. It comes with a lot of neat original items! Please have a look! http://www.ebay.com/sch/analogfilms/m.html?item=330971727932&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d0f73c83c&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  12. I suspect you would need a lens support for that lens on a C mount. Try looking for Century telephoto lenses, their simpler construction makes them much lighter in weight than a zoom. I have a 230mm from Century, among others.
  13. http://www.ebay.com/itm/330875464591?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Selling my Canon DS8 Camera! Great condition!! Auction ending soon!!! Thanks
  14. Hey Andy, A really nice Super 8 camera that reads all films and doesn't break the bank is the Canon 518sv. They come in their own cases usually and you can add wide/tele converters to them. Actually a lot of the Canons are great and worth looking into! Cheers!
  15. 50d rules. Plus it looks like it handled any exposure errors you might of had as well. I got a screaming deal on a factory (Swiss) Super 16 converted EBM package with lens for less that $700. Love the framing mask they put in the viewfinder at the factory. Even came in original boxes. Now if I can just find a similar EL mkIII!
  16. Hey people this thread is 4 years old! Maybe thats why you can't see the pics.
  17. Hi Robert, Just wondering about your experience ordering film with Cinevia. I tried to email them, to gage how well they handle them selves, and never got a response. Was your order recent? I also have a Bolex DS8, and would love to try this stock. Cheers!
