Do you have the grip? I bought a new battery from this Ebay seller http://myworld.ebay.com/i-got-the-stuff-u-want/?_trksid=p4340.l2559 His name is Don. Great guy, very helpful. If you do not have the grip, he also recell the old battery packs for MST motors. He can include a cable to work with your EBM. I also bought one of these from him, which he included a cable to connect my Tobin Motor. Hope that helps!

If they are frozen, you can move them to the fridge overnight. Then take them out in the morning and give them an hour or more and then shoot.
-
For long term storage, get some gallon size storage Ziplok bags to keep frost moister out, and then freeze'em! For film you are going to use in a short time, store them in the fridge.

Simon, I am awaiting the arrival of my Bolex Rx4 DS8, that Jean-Louis just overhauled. Right now there are no B&W DS8 stocks in the US. Freestyle will have some Fomapan in the next few months, but only in 10 meters. I just ordered 400ft roll of 100D from John, glad to know its not from the last batch from Kodak. Would love to see some pics of your perforator! Do you use it now? Would be cool to see Pan F!
-
In the US I would contact Bernie at Super16 Inc. If you don't mind shipping to Canada, I can recommend Jean-Louis (forum member). Jean-Louis serviced my Bolex Rex 4 DS8. Cheers!

I shipped an Ebay item to Japan, they attempted delivery the day before the earthquake, but the buyer wasn't home. The day after the earthquake it was delivered. So I would say yes, the Japan post system is fine. Japanese persevere though the most devestating events, by carrying on with normal daily activities.

Why in the World Did I get this Beaulieu 4008 ZM so cheap?!
Todd Pinder replied to Richard Key's topic in Super-8
Sometimes when the battery dies while shooting the mirror ends up not lined up so you can only see part of the image. When you have a full battery and you let go of the trigger the camera returns the mirror automatically. -
Definitely the best looking in the 4008 series! I have one as well as a late ZM4, that camera has no internal filters to worry about. Speaking of filters did Bjron remove yours or replace them?

Ending soon! Please have a look! Cheers! http://shop.ebay.com/theanalogue/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=200

That camera is not mine. I just remember saving the image for reference. But the description did say custom! http://www.srb-griturn.com/for-compact-digital-cameras--camcorders-with-filter-or-body-mounting-threads-361-p.asp

And the components: Marshall V-LCD4-Pro-Kit LCD monitor, Mintron CCD camera model MTV-33K9HN with 12mm f/1.6 1/3" CS mount TV lens, and SRB-Griturn custom viewfinder eyepiece adapter.

The new Portra is made for scanning, not printing, much like Vision.

Thanks for digging up that post! Cheers!

Is it possible to collimate or adjust the back focus of any non RX c mount lens into one suitable for Bolex RX
-
Well, there you have it from the man himself! Thanks for chiming in Bjorn! I was curious why it was with this camera and why I have never seen this unit any where before. Bjorn, do you have any info or pictures of the interval unit Michael talked about? Todd
-
Thanks Micheal I was hoping and kinda figured that you would be the first to respond to my post! Anyway I acquired it with a 4008s, off ebay of course. From the looks of the camera I was thinking that this might be one of the last 4008's that were built by Beaulieu using old parts. It runs off of a 9 volt battery. Uses the remote control socket. Has a dial type switch to adjust the interval with corresponding red light that blinks every time it goes off. Here is some more pics: Todd
