Hey guys, I have for sale an original 1967 Bolex RX-5 Camera Package. Complete with (3) very sharp Schneider Kreuznach Cine-Xenon Primes (16mm f/2, 25mm f/1.4, 50mm f/2), Canon FD to C-Mount Adapter for Canon Still Lenses, 6 Kodak Wratten Gelatins and a Flight Case made by AJ Cases in Los Angeles. This camera is perfect for a professional filmmaker or aspiring student. A high percentage of famous cinema directors learned their trade with this superb 16 mm camera which always gave them the versatility to shoot every type of filming application and every filming context. The Bolex H16 camera is incredibly versatile and may be used in a wide variety of roles - from a low cost entry point to 16mm filming by film students right through to a professional tool used in the production of animation, documentary and drama for commercial markets. The camera was serviced CLA'd (Cleaned, Lubricated, and Adjusted) by TCS (Technological Cine-Video Services) in New York on W 38th Street on May 05, 2010 and has only ran about 200' of film through the camera since being serviced. I had the camera cleaned and taken care of by TCS twice to make sure that camera continued to run properly and that the spring was in great shape. The camera technician also notched on the speed dial where exact frame rates were located so you will know exactly howe many FPS you are running(see picture). I purchased this camera package from a friend in 2007 and I simply haven't used it enough for it to be financially viable for me to keep it. I am an independent documentary cinematographer and I don't find myself using this enough as most documentary productions simply don't have the budget or patience for film anymore (sadly). I assure you that these Prime Lenses are SHARP. VERY SHARP. The Schneider Cine-Xenons are great lenses. I have compared them side by side with Switars in camera and stock tests when I first purchased this camera. I was blown away by the sharpness of these lenses. My tests were run through telecine at Deluxe New York at 2K for comparison. These will also mount on the Panasonic GH1 series. I am in dire need of some new (and fast) glass for my camera. As of now i am working with a som-berthiot 17.5mm-86mm zoom lens at an f/2.4. I am just not quite satisfied with the sharpness or image quality. Anyone have anything that they'd be willing to give up for a badass student DP???????

The light splashing through the side doorways would be a nice highlight to the side of the subject if they are also progressing through the hallway. Maybe throw a window cookie in front of them to simulate the windows inside the rooms... What time of day is your action taking place? High noon? Magic Hour (more like magic 15 minutes :0)?
