  9. Marc: it's imposible to answer you: your recipient's inbox is full...
  10. 1/60th if you use Switar RX lens. 1/80th if not. Best,
  11. Mine is with the front completely flat, but I am sure that you can't thread anything in front of this (picture) lens. These lenses cover super 16, condition to putting a 70mm slip-on external housing, if not will vignette...
  12. Mark: I come from very far from Visual Products... I wrote the link because I haved to double check if these wide angles have or don't have front threads: mine lenses, the similar from the pictures, don't have it. As I wrote, the original front diameter is 70mm. The others 16 /25mm mk1's have a 58mm internal thread. All the best,
  13. Mine don't have it. Check the pictures http://www.visualproducts.com/storeProduct...;Cat3=25#bigPic
  14. These lenses don't have front thread. The external diameter is 70mm. You will need clip-on system rings...
  15. The tiny Vario-Switar Compact 17-85mm f3.5 covers super 16 at full scales.
  16. Hi. I had a 10mm Tevidon C-mount. I had to clear the rear brass ring to fit properly in a Bolex camera (touched with the support turret). As before explained it covers S16, with very low distorsion, but with rare yellow tonality. Really sharp, but in the Bolex S16 I had to close at least T4.5 to have good focus at the edges (due to the camera prism. The iris unit is very close to the back focus...). Hope this help.
  17. Sorry. I think you have a big problem here: in both S16 or R16 formats it's obvious than left and right sides aren't the same focus!! Probably the gate is not full parallel with the plane of the mount. It's very obvious for exemple in the close up of the meter: look the card in the background and the right side has much more focus than the left one!!
  18. All Cooke Kinetals lenses will cover the super 16 format. Except the 9mm one.
  19. THE DRAUGHTSMAN'S CONTRACT (1983) by Peter Greenaway, shot by Curtis Clark with Aaton and Zeiss primes and Cooke zoom.
  20. After 30 years from its manufacture this camera needs to fit the pressure plate... Then the back focus will be OK and you'll have more resolution at full aperture. This zoom lens (sorry) is really sharp!!
  21. Well, my Canon 12.5-75 in my Scoopic M S16 cover fully the format at 16/9 projection, with excellent resolutions at the corners. I suspect that glass of the beamsplitter viewfinder of this camera blow up slightly the focal...
  22. Of course. Fully collimated with the focus scale.
  23. Hi. Years ago I made this full compatible Contax-Aaton adaptor (probably the only one that you have seen it...). Zeiss-Contax lenses (made in Germany or in Japan, by Kiocera) are great lenses, and very cheap!!
