  1. Hello There! A couple of days ago I got my Letus Extreme 35mm adapter for my HVX200, and I have been doing some tests with it. Now I have a couple of questions that some of you guys can hopefully answer. I have been working as a still photographer as well as dong video work for a living for the last couple of years, so I am used to using the Nikon lenses I am using for the adapter. I have heard that f:5.6 is the lowest you can go with the Letus Extreme, regarding both the aperture of the adapted lens and the aperture in the camera. I know that this is because of the risk of seeing the grain in the GG of the adapter, but has any of you guys had any positive experiences closing the aperture any further? On the same note, using the gain in camera is supposed to be a NO NO too, has anyone used this creatively? Regarding the focus, focusing on the camera viewfinder or LCD is way more difficult than in a regular still SLR, so if anyone has a formula for calculating the depth of field for a given f-stop, distance and focal length, it would be greatly appreciated. I know that this will vary with the quality of the lens, but still the ideal formula must exist. Thanks. -Henrik
  2. Hello There! I have recently upgraded to a HVX200, so I am selling my Panasonic AG-DVX100AE. I have used the camera for 2 years and I have been very happy with the results. I have taken good care of it and it is in perfect working condition. Included in the sale is a 5400mAh battery, charger/power supply, remote control and user manual. Price: 1300 Euros PS: Please note that this is the PAL(European) version of the camera. PPS: I also have a Century Ultra Fisheye Adapter(bayonet mount) for the DVX100 for sale. The lens has a small mark on the front element, but it doesn't affect the image. Price: 300 Euros
  3. Thanks a lot for the help, it was super easy to capture the footage. However, now I have another problem. All of the footage which has been shot in slow motion works perfectly, but the footage shot at 25fps is out of sync and every 3rd ord 4th frame is double. This ofcourse means that the footage is not smooth looking. I getting a bit desperate here, cause I need my p2 cards for a shoot tomorrow and I am not too keen on erasing the footage since I have the sync and double frame problem. Some advice on what I am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated. -Henrik Edelbo
  4. I just upgraded from FCP 5 to FCP 6 and I have some problems figuring out how to capture Panasonic P2 material. In FCP 5 the P2 capture function was there when I installed the software, but I cannot seem to find it in FCP 6. Do I need to install a P2 capture plug-in? I have some DVCPRO HD 720p25 footage that I need to capture before Tuesday, and since the earlier versions of FCP doesn't support 720p25, it would be greatly appreciated if someone could give me advice on how to capture P2 in FCP 6. Thanks. -Henrik Edelbo
