just shot my first s8 cartridge and when i took it out of the compartment there was some black ink? inside...around the edge of the compartment and a little rubbed on the outside of the cartridge it self.
camera = canon 1014xl-s
film stock = kodak ektachrome 64t
any idea why this is so?
what are the best tools for cleaning Super 8 Film?
some say Lint free Cotton Cloth others say Chamois Leather...should it be dry or damp?
and should you ever use any kind of liquid on the films..? i have heard of lubricating the films.
cheers
hi Gordon,

i have also seen an Elmo 610D for sale in my local area...and have heard this is also a decent model on the cheaper side...
Hi :)
I recently signed up to this forum and have been searching for information on Super 8 Projectors...this seems to be the best site i have found in regards to projectors so i hope you can help me out.
I am currently searching for a S8 Projector to screen my future personal S8 footage.
The cameras in use (if it makes any difference) are; Canon 1014XL-S and AGFA FAMILY C-100.
So there will generally be 50ft Films. Although i would like to have the choice of screening much larger films ie. 600ft.
OK so which do you think is better?
