  1. I apollogize for not being as clear on that as I could have beeen. The other day I took a green screen to the park with me and clamped it to the fence behind home plate at the baseball field. With the sun facing the greenscreen... I thought it was going to be a great idea but then what I found out was that the sun was too powerful for the person who was acting. I may have been all wrong? Any ideas!
  2. What can you do if someone has very sensitive eyes in front of a bright light on camera and it makes their eyes all squinty?
  3. Like in Terminator 2... but I wonder what was one of the first movies that came up with that idea. Its funny because I would never leave my keys in the visor!
  4. I was just wondering...who came up with the original idea for there to be car keys in the sun visors?!
  5. Would like to be a part of a feature crew

  6. I did not have a shot planned out yet... I was just trying to figure out what my possibilities were first. I was limited on actors and I wanted a guy to be taller than a lady. I started wondering how they did it with the Hobbits vs. regular people in Lord of the Rings. Maybe there are some common practices. I appreciate all the suggestions very much... you guys are great! Thanks
  7. When you have two people standing next to each other holding hands for example is there a way to make one of them look taller or shorter than the other?
  8. This is very good news it sounds like .... I can let the camera do most of the work and then tweak it! Oh yes I made a mistake by saying automatically Focus... I should have said Auto Adjust Exposure. Thank you for understanding Edmund O
  9. I am glad that you are having a good time. (That does not seem like a waste of time)
  10. Hello It looks Like I am going to choose between 3 camcorders.... The Canon HV20, the Sony HDR-HC7, and the Sony HDR - SR12. (I am not done researching) It looks like basically the price goes up as the image sensor pixel count goes up...Though... I think it is important to have manul controls ... In that case it Looks like the Sony HDR-HC7 is best. I am not sure because from what sony says... "Take command of your pictures as you manually control focus, exposure, shutter speed, auto exposure shift and white balance shift." I am guessing that auto exposure shift means that when you manually press a button the camcorder will automatically focus. However does "white balance shift" mean that (Instead of Presets) when you manually press a button the camcorder will automatically white balance? A simple Yes is fine or if not then please explain. Thanks Edmund O.
