Yes, that's true.. Rick, the reason I suggest to leave some film behind is to provide some buffer for the last shooter. Because I did suffer wait for the film few months as the last shooter and only have 2 seconds of film left in the cart. That's why I suggested that all shooters shoot their 10 feet and in case someone overrun a bit.. the last one still have their safe 10 feet to shoot.
The reason for that is to protect the last shooter (for example: you)... but it shouldn't become an advantage that the last shooter have 20 seconds, which I think that's not fair to the others when all of them only have 10 feet. You can overrun a little bit like a couple of seconds.. but please plan for your footage in 10 feet(30seconds in 24fps).
