Hey guys. I just bought the Sanyo Xacti hd1010 camcorder. I've been shooting some videos for testing and when I import to my computer (iMac) I get some troubles. I can view the vids in Quicktime but I can not view them in Final Cut Pro nor Adobe After Effects. When I try playing them in those programs they either play extremely slow or just not at all. I have been reading on some forum pages that the mac I got will not play the 60fps vids but I have been recording 30fps and it's the same story with those clips. I would really appreciate any help, if I should convert the videos into some other formats... or something else. Thanks in advance

Well I am not sure what kind of camera it is exactly, my school only had one camera that is barely used (I'm studying Multimedia Design). Then we had a broken tripod which we borrowed from a friends. We got 3 lights borrowed from school, smashed one (accidentally) and that's it. Then we edited the whole thing in Premier. We had better stuff when it came to making the music :) Plan on going to a film school next year so then I can work with some better equipment.

This is a video that me and a friend made as a final project in school. However the project was mainly to work with some viral strategies and get views on the video. We spent some time working on the video, actually much more than we should have because now we're working hard on writing some report for this project. We didn't have good equipment (probably because the school is not focusing on video making). The song was made by me. Hope you enjoy it and let us know what you think. Hi there, im studying now in Denmark and my final project (along with one other classmate) is to make a music video to one my songs and then write a 50 page report about all kinds of stuff. We will be writing about music videos in general, analyzing a few, writing about viral video and other stuff that we might find fitting to the report. Was just wondering if any of you might have some sources for any of those subjects, online sources preferably. thanks in advance Leo
