There is just something about a fifty pound camera on your shoulders and the sound of film running through the gate that really gets me going in the morning.

  1. http://www.benjamincasias.com/reel.html Hello hello everyone thank you for taking a moment to view ad i hope comment on my new website and Demo reel. The purpose of this Demo Reel is to gain attention to shoot some Indi Feature films. And i hope that when you watch this you might all hve some comments on how it could be edited/sound/look better. I have Been a Steadicam operator for 10 years and i have used the teachings of my previous cinematographers to put together this far.
  2. Hello every one and thank you for taking the time to check out my reel http://vimeo.com/2270516 its a minute and change long and it needs lots of work and i still have 3 more films to add into it.
  3. I would apprentice under TOM STERN. bottom line he knows light better than any one. second he was conrad halls gaffer for years so he know all of the tricks. STERN is the man.. and he hasn't sold out either.
  4. dude rethink the entire piece. ok so you have nice work but the music is TERRIBLE i wanted to stop watching 100 times but i chose to turn off the audio. second i like your long shots but i don't like seeing the same movie or project for more than 3 clips... i think you should find 3 clips of each of those projects that are in your reel and cut out the rest. this will provide a faster smoother reel i mean seriously 3+ minutes. but again nice stuff but we need to see more in less time.
  5. hey all let me know what you think there is no audio but i think there is enough pretty stuff to keep people engaged. even still i will be adding audio later i'm looking for advice on what shots to keep http://www.vimeo.com/1043770
  6. well the stills are nice but what happens when they move in and out of light? how does that look? also when are you going to have a rough cut available? I have been looking forward to seeing one.
  7. hey bowerbank you forgot to mention Tom Stern after C. Hall
