  1. these guys look to be doing a pretty good crystal sync motor for the Kras: http://www.electrologic.dk/
  2. Thanks for all the info. I'm going back down to the telecine house soon to get it sorted.
  3. I got my first role of 16mm processed and telecined onto mini DV the other day. When i captured it, from mini DV and looked at it, it seems to have a lot of digital noise in there and only looks right when you shrink it to web streaming size. The film lab didn't give me a log sheet or anything so i don't know what process they actually put it through, but have i been 'done over' or is there another explaination? im new to this so im really not sure?
  4. I'm using a Minolta auto meter IVF to get a light reading on my K3. what i was wondering though is it says i should stop down 1/3 stop for a 160° shutter angle but the K3 is a 150°angle. I was thinking that if i rate it with the still camera setting at a 1/60th shutter speed cause the shutter speed is 1/60 at 24fps then it would be right. but i got some stuff back and it was a bit under. so is there a better way of doing it?
