  1. Yeah, and now the problem is back, except this time I am unable to fix it... Very frustrating.
  2. Interesting development. I opened up the camera and tried to record, and suddenly it worked. Sluggishly at first, but now it purrs like a kitten. Almost like an old car that needs to warm up. Strange :P
  3. Hi. I have just received my "new" Bauer C900XL, but can't get it running. I have tried three sets of fresh batteries, but the camera just won't run. When I switch on the power, the only thing I can see is an uneven flickering of the missing daylight filter warning lamp. The green battery indicator LED that should light up in the viewfinder (according to the manual) does not appear, and none of the controls work. Any ideas to what the problem could be? I'm really quite desperate as I'm supposed to do some tests with the camera later today...
  4. Hi! I recently shot four rolls of Ektachrome 64T with my Nizo S560, and had them developed. I have now sent them for telecine, and told them to do it at 24fps since most of my footage is at this framerate. The thing is, some of my footage is at 54fps. Will the slow mo look smooth telecined at 24fps, or should it be telecined at 18fps or something (since 18x3=54)?
  5. Thanks a lot guys! I received my wein cells today and will do som tests on Friday :)
  6. I wasn´t aware of the fact that one needs "old type"-batteries for the light meter. So my 1,5V Varta 625 batteries won´t give me accurate exposures? Any tips to where I can order Wein cells on the net?
  7. Hi! I´m going to shoot my first rolls of Super8 with my S560 soon.Any advice on exposure using 64T? Like do I need to expose differently when using the daylight-filter and so forth... I don´t have a separate light meter, so I will have to use the built-in one.
  8. Hi! I'm soon going to try out my first Super8 camera, a Canon 514XL. I tried to attach a polarizing filter from my videocamera, and found that it fits perfectly. The thing I'm wondering about is why the colors in my viewfinder change when turning the filter? This doesn't happen on my video camera. Will the color changes appear on the film or only through the viewfinder? Thanks in advance!
