  1. hi everybody, i'll be shooting in a greenhouse next week and just wanted to get some creativ ideas how to light the set. in the attached photo you'll see an area which is marked pink. that's where 8-10 people will be acting. i got 3x 2,5HMI and a kinoflo and shinyboards. so either i'll set up the lights inside the greenhouse and bounce it off the shinyboards or from outside through a diffusion gel. haven't seen the location myself but it seems one could rigg lights on top.....via a shinyboard maybe..?? any ohter suggestions? cheers
  2. and is there some other sekonic "cine" still around? on the sekonic homepage they only got the l-758 cine which is realy expensive... what about the 608/618 or 558? ist there a cine version still available? i mean new? cheers
  3. hi there, can anyone recommend a place to buy sekonic lightmeters inexpensively from??? i mean an alternative to b&h and keh ? and reliable? cheers, m
  4. hi there, i still dont quite understand which procedure to follow in order to create a lens file (for sony f900r) for a lens that isnt in the lens file menue....which parameters do i need to adjust manualy and how does it work? and would anyone notice if one would simply use a lens file of a similar lens?? i'm using a fujnon 4,5-59mm. the qualitiy of the lens varies big time depending on the focal lenght. so would it theoreticaly make sense to create 2 lens files for the same lens? one lens file for 4,5-30mm and the second for 31mm-59mm????? of course it's very likely that one won't have the time on set to switch from one lens file to the ohter. but question is if you would notice any bad side effects when using only one lens file...? any ideas to that? cheers
