This lens was built at Panavision Woodland Hills by Dan Sasaki and given a new cam which focuses in the right direction for cinema usage. It has also been re-barreled with a 12? close focus (factory lenses have a 13? CF) and linear T ring. It has also been fitted with a housing that holds one 2x3 filter that rotates. Many (16) filters included. It also takes a 40.5 in the rear. Dan Sasaki has mentioned that this particular lens is one of the sharpest 300mm T2s he has seen.
