  1. Dear Shooters. Thanks for your reply. One more question! What about taking T-Stop of TV Screen? I heard that the spot meter does not really work out well with TV Screen. To avoid washed out effect on film later, what is the best way to measure the luminance of TV screen? Thanks!
  2. Thanks for your tip. I believe that each monitor has different signal. What about color temperature? My lighting source is going to be tungsten based... Do I have to correct the color temperature of each monitor by putting CTO Gel on, or is there better way to shoot? One more question? How to measure the TV monitor's exposure? I heard that the spot meter does not work well with TV monitor. Can you recommend better way? Thanks guys.
  3. Dear Shooters. Hi, there. I am going to shoot sveral TV monitors (NTSC type) in my next project. In the small room, there will be more than 10 tv monitors lined up, and I will have several camera set-ups. What is the best way to shoot this kind of situation? Is is ok to change sutter angle (from 180 degree to 144 degree) or is there better way? Ever TV has different liens. To avoid bars coming up in the monitor (when shooting with film camera-24fps), I need some kind of tips. Of course, I will do several test later, but I also need some guide. Thanks. Yun.
  4. Hi, Thanks for your reply. I believe that I set up the filter B (Clear for 3200K). However, I might make a mistake because I was using the monitor to check the Lighting. Anyway, thanks very much. By the way, is there any good workshops for HD Camera? Like short time (maximum 4 weeks) but intense workshop. I am really considering of taking some time off, and take some kind of workshops. If anybody knows, please let me know. Thanks again.
  5. Hi, Yes. The model was Sony F-900. I was also using Digi Prime Lens. By the way, what do you mean by mark one model of f900? It was my first time to use HD Camera.
  6. Dear Shooters. Hi, I had a problem when I was shooting Some Street Lamps with Sony F-900 + Carl Zeiss Digi Prime Lens at night time. Recently I was shooting a night scene near Countryside. Far from severa street Lamps & countryside Rail Station (which were far away from us), It was so dark. It was a crane shot. The camera was starting from the actor's face, and then it started doing jib-up and show the whole town. The last frame was showing landscape & street lamps (which were quite far away), etc. As soon as the camera was picking up the street lamps, there was very wierd lans flare showing up. It looked like a Cross or a Star. I could not do anything else because they were so far away from us. Some people might like this flare, but I did not. The flare was very different from the film ones. Any good advice to get rid of this kind of lens flare?
  7. Hi... I believe, any lightmeter can do the best job if you know how to use & you are familiar with that. If you are fancy to the Sekonic Studio Delux, then why not? Just keep it.
  8. Hey, Dan. Yes, this is Yun. I kind of guessed you might reply to my topic. Anyway, thanks man.
  9. Hi, This is Yun. I have been searching for the instructional Manual of Arri 35A/or B camera over the website, but I have not found out anything yet. Can anybody give me any information where I can find out this manual for Arri 535 camera? I am going to use this camera pretty soon, but I have never been using it before (I just used Moviecam before). Thanks! Yun
