  1. FOR SALE: an Elite Anamorphic 75mm MKIV T2.2 Pictures of the lens can be found on WeTransfer; https://we.tl/t-3fiptRXsqA Selling this lens because I have two and need the money right now. The lens itself is in a pristine condition, very well maintained, optically perfect and cosmetically too (except for some paint scuffs on the bottom of the lens mount). It is in my humble opinion one of the best series ever made! - PL-mount obviously. - Markings are in feet. - Price is 25.000 USD, and without shipping, customs, ... - Lens is based in Brussels, will only ship or offer pick-up after I have received payment. This is non-negotiable, so don't even try there is a whole army of scammers on the web, and I will not put up with them. Paypal is an option but you pay for the fees. An invoice is obviously possible. These are some shoots where I have used the lens on: - https://me.mxmln.be/portfolio-item/paralympics-tokyo-2020/ - https://me.mxmln.be/portfolio-item/neverlanding/ - https://me.mxmln.be/portfolio-item/girlshawaii/ - https://me.mxmln.be/portfolio-item/loicnottet/ - https://me.mxmln.be/portfolio-item/balthazar/ - https://me.mxmln.be/portfolio-item/thesubs/
  2. For sale: An Iscorama Göttingen 36 Anamorphic lens. The lens has a 1.5x squeeze ratio (though I find it to be rather 1.4x) and a fitting lens from Iscorama as well. In great condition! No fungus or scratches. It has an M42 mount. The lens covers full frame on a Canon 5D Mark III. The anamorphic element can be detached and used on other lenses. Also included: + 0.5 diopter + 1 diopter + 2 diopter + 4 diopter M42 to Canon EF mount Some of my work with the lens: Photography in NYC: http://ps.ximiliaan.be/26251/911519/portfolio/new-york-city-documentary Asking price: 4000 EURO or a very good bid. Will ship everywhere.

  4. Hey guys, just looking for some feedback on my reel: www.ximiliaan.be . I have both a Director reel as a Cinematography reel. The cinematography reel is the most recent one. Thanks in advance. Mx
  5. Yes. Right now I've rented about 16 space lights (6x800w each) and 10 Cycloids of 5Kw each. The room is 10m high, 13 width, 16 long. Would this do it? We're shooting on the Phantom HD Gold too, at 1000 fps. Without greenkey, on black background with 24Kw as a backlight and 16 Kw Jumbo light as a fill. Is this overkill? Thanks, Mx
  6. Hey hey, Within a couple of days I have a shoot on Tungsten for Green Screen. The studio is about 300 square meters. What lights should I be using? We'll be shooting pretty much on nothing else besides fluorescent lighting for the actors light, but I was wondering if there is specific tungsten lighting for the green key, that won't take me too much time to install and still cover the whole area whilst having enough light. Thanks, Maxim
  7. Thanks to everyone for the lovely help out here, especially Phil!.. This thread has been very useful! What are the general ideas about doing rack focus with an isocrama lens? I think I'm going for an Eos 1D MrkIV setup for the iscorama lens because of the crop factor, but what do you think about it, because I have never seen any 1D MrkIV footage so far.. And final question.. I can't seem to find a single good iscorama lens on the net for sale.. I found a Iscorama 42, but Phil told me this lens is certainly not as interesting as the 36.. Any ideas?
  8. Impressed. For a studentfilm, this is really nice work. Visually stunning.
  9. I like your reel too. It's cool to see that everything looks so realistic, and you don't add too much flashy colours, effects, etc.... Love it. What cameras did you use?
  10. I've updated the website http://www.eyedream.be/ .. Next will be to re-edit the reel. Thx Mx
  11. Hey Waqas, Honestly, I did not watch it. Can't you remove the watermark? I really don't see why you would use a watermark. I can't imagine anyone wanting to steel that footage, that hardly happens at all. Especially not from Vimeo or other Flash websites. Secondly, you call your own work 'some quality stuff'.. Modesty is a nice virtue. :-) But no offence here. If you could remove those watermarks, I'd be more than willing to watch it.
  12. It really matters. The whole website is in flash, and for comptability issues, I want to keep it in Flash. Mx
  13. Hey there, I'm working on a new website and have to encode pretty much videos in Flash. I was wondering what the best settings are to encode Flash Videos, to maintain a high quality but also achieve a file that streams fluently. At 640 x 360 pix I encode at 900kbps, but that's too heavy to have a speedy download to stream the videos. At 700 it's too low for my taste. Any settings I have to take in mind? Good programs for Mac? I used Adobe Flash Video Encoder CS3 for now. Thanks, Maxim
  14. Great advice, thanks! I have worked with that L-768 meter Adrian, and I really liked it. But when looking at Filmtools, I see they have the L-758 meter but I can't seem to find the difference in the specs, nor in design. Any ideas?
  15. Right. Never even saw there was none. I figured this was standard. Was looking way too fast again. Thanks for the reminder!
  16. Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy my first very own lightmeter instead of using the ones from the film school all the time. Do you people have any idea if this lightmeter is okay? "Sekonic L-358 FlashMaster Light Meter (With Cine Functions) Model 401-358" With the current discount at Filmtools, this looks like a really good deal. If you think this lightmeter would not suffice, what alternative do you suggest? Thanks for the help, Maxim
  17. Thanks for the swift replies Mike & David! You're right. It has always been a pain for me to cut everything shorter, but I honestly believe you guys when you say I should cut everything shorter. Looks like I'm heading back to the editing table then. Thanks so far!
  18. Hey everyone, My name is Maxim, Belgian, and I'm new to this forum. I've been reading it for some time now, but now I finally felt like registering and join some of the interesting discussions. I would like to know what you guys think of my reel. It's very basic and it might take a bit too long, but I really would love to hear your opinion nonetheless. http://www.eyedream.be/reel/ The footage is a mixture of Super16mm, 16mm, 35mm DOF adapters, Video and some 35mm shots. I have to say it does not contain all my work since some things didn't get cleared by the production company I often work for. Really looking forward to your opinions. Greetings, Maxim
