  1. Hello there, I'm selling my Angenieux 6-90 mm f 1:1.2 (T 1.4) for c-mount (super8) which I used on my Beaulieu 4008 ZM 2. For further information, please see here: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290549274763&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_2769wt_1141 Thank you and all the best, Max.
  2. Hey there, I have only one super8 film favorited on youtube, and it isn't even a pure work. But it's really inspirational (at least for me :))
  3. Thanks for your feedback so far! DOF is (besides the focal length and aperture of the lens) basically a matter of the size of the projection plain. The Super8 film plain is relatively small compared to the 24mm x 36mm (almost) size of the 35mm adapter. Thus it decreases the DOF, blurring the bg more rapidly. Please correct me if I m explaining it not correctly.... In this context using a different lens (using a Nikon adapter) won t change anything (DOF-wise) when using the same focal length and aperture on C mount. For surfing (they will be pretty far away anyway) get a pretty long and fastest (low aperture) tele lens you can afford, do the ND trick and you should be fine.
  4. This all sounds really promising to me, but I got to dig deeper into that, just read about it (and just found this nice forum here :) )... Throwing a quick question in: I own a Bolex H16, doing an Ultra16 conversion and the necessary adjustments of the internals (plus having a telecine being able to handle that format): Could I also use my Nikon primes I've been using with my 35mm adapter set up via an Bolex -> f mount adapter? Thanks a lot and best from Germany, Max.
  5. Hey there, I attached my 35mm adapter to my Beaulieu 4008 ZM II for trying something different. What do you guys think? http://www.vimeo.com/2790407 Thanks a lot, Max.
