  1. Hi What about "Hands-on Manual for Cinematographers" by David Samuelson? How does it compare to the ASC Manual? Ultimately, im looking for a book that'll help me learn how to light and film a sequence correctly. For example, how to use a light metre to light a scene or how to wokr out correct focal lengths to use etc. Tom
  2. Does anybody have any advice on getting work experience in the industry? Wheres the best place to apply/look? I want to eventually become a Director of Photography so im hoping to get some work experience in that department. But i gather thats probly not realistic. Even so, any work experience is good work experience, rite? Im currently in my second year at York St. John university. Where would i start to look for production comapnies in the area or even in London? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Cheers, Tom Dunne
  3. Im studying film and television production in the United Kingdom. Below is a link to my work, any reviews/crituques or advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
