Thanks for that. I cut the reel randomly on purpose as my last reel was organised and I felt the need to mash up a bit :) Also this was cut mainly for a quick view for commercial/film producers. If directors are interested in the different styles of my work they can view the 'films' page of my website. Thank you for your opinion. I might consider to recut the reel in a few weeks. Hello. I have a project coming up on s16mm. I would like to frame my film in 2.40:1 aspect ratio, but I am not fully aware of how to go about the procedure. I understand there are 2 ways of achieving this. Either shoot 16mm anamorphic or super 16mm with a marked ground glass. If I shoot s16mm, I just mark the GG to mark the aspect ratio for framing, but the neg is still 1.66:1, yes. So is the final aspect done in post production by adding a 2.40:1 mask onto a 1.66:1 telecine image? Thank you for your help. Bartlomiej

hello, Im shooting a pop promo on RED one next week and am looking for a specific flare effect. It can be seen in the interiors of CSI Miami. The flare is spread out horizontally. hello, I am shooting a documentary using Bolex XL camera. 2 questions: - what type of stock does the camera mags take 400 feet or just 100 like Reflex version. - is the gate size standard s16mm 1:1.85 ? thank you, Bart

hello. I am are shooting a short documentary on bolex reflex. I have never used this camera and would like to know how to do a time lapse on it. I heard you can do single frame exposure "T" but I read somewhere that the shutter speed changes from 1/50 to 1/30 (is this the same as shutter angle in 25fps modes)causing overexposure if not compensated. the other thing is: has the camera got 1.33:1 gate or 1.85:1 the final product is to be in 1.85:1 s16mm) And how would I go about it when I want to do telecine to HD.
