  1. price drop to 19.99 anyone have an opinion about how much these are realistically worth?
  2. thought I should mention these CORE ADAPTERS I'm selling on ebay. anyone interested is welcome to contact me directly if any remain after the auction. they are for the 16mm Kinor 16CX-2M. thanks! http://cgi.ebay.com/16mm-Core-Adapter-dayl...312008743215812
  3. Nice footage, that must've been one heck of a fast tilt up!
  4. Hi Doug, Thanks for the info. I have a few 1B bodies, mags, lenses, etc. that I've sent you a message about.
  5. Hey Rob, Yeah, i got a weird model i guess. Maybe i'll get lucky and find a cheap controller somewhere. I'd offer to scan and convert the manual but looks like we live on opposite sides of the US. I'm always open to any further info on the HYCAM, thanks for all the help thusfar. -Lou
  6. Hello All, Here are some pics of the HYCAM i have. Does anyone happen to know what PPS it might run at on H&L settings respectively? Cheers, -lou Hycam Pic 1 Hycam Pic 2 Hycam Pic 3 Hycam Pic 4
  7. oops, it's a HYCAM... not a HYCAM II
  8. does anyone know where I can find a HYCAM II manual pdf? the model i have uses a 100' spool and has only the H-L switch but no controller. it seems to run fine but i have no way to calculate FPS for exposure. thanks, -Lou
  9. Did you make sure the H-L switch was properly engaged? When I was testing mine out I tried it on both settings and it seems that it's possible for the H-L switch to fit into the locked position even if the gears don't engage properly. -Lou
  10. I'm glad I found this posting, I had a similar alignment problem. The rubber block trick worked like a charm. Thanks JL!
  11. Hello All, There are some great threads here on high speed motion picture cameras. Has anyone here shot footage on the Photo-Sonics 1B? I know there are some other posts about the company and other cameras but this particular model seems a little more obscure. I guess the camera people involved with these were mostly part of the crash test crews or on other tests.? Thanks in advance for any additional info you would like to share.
