  1. I did it all day today with an AB 90HC that are new and fully up. Call Bandpro and ask them. I can't imagine a manufacturer putting a battery receiver on their product if it wasn't designed for the voltage. TVLogic VFM-071
  2. For Sale are a set of 4X4 Diffusion Filters A B C D manufactured by Bausch & Lomb. There are no chips on any of them. They are very similar to Pancro's Mitchell early editions. Glass is white with no color cast. I have tried to find out when these were manufactured and there is no info available. They may have been made for Mitchell before Pancro took over in the 50's. They are very old, in excellent condition and comparable to what we use today. I wish they were 4X5.6 so I could use them. $500 for the set. Bill Coss w.coss@mindspring.com
  3. Eric, Just so you know, none of the above suggestions are actually tripods.
  4. You can put a ceramic globe in the 200 Dedo and it becomes a tungsten fixture. That's a plus. You should really demo one, I'm sure that will make up your mind. Bill
  5. The Preston operates in the 2.4 Ghz band and therefore a Bartec antenna should never be used because it runs at 900 Mhz. Just because an antenna will physically fit the connector does not mean that it is matched and will reduce the efficiency of the transmitter and may even damage it. This is especially true with video transmitters. I think you should call Howard, they have the low profile version also.
  6. Using a linear pola on certain film cameras will conflict with the video tap optics. I always took it as a "grain of salt", almost an "urban myth" of sorts. Arricam ST, just filling in for the day. Couldn't believe this assistant's filter was even on the truck. Bill
  7. Isabelle, One thing that you should also consider is the quality of the light that is put out by the fixture. How even is the field, edge to edge? What is the fall off like on the edges? What is the focusing range from spot to flood? Can it be dimmed and be used with regular house power or automatic voltage input selection for international use? My choice: Dedolight DLH400D Sweet, Bill
