Ive never heard of some one with the budget to shoot 35mm on an Arricam that would not have enough budget to shoot with real professional 35mm lenses. Ive had people asking me to rent my Arri 435 extreme with out my lens, but I won't do it. The main reason why your lens wont work on a "professional" film camera, is simply because the lens are made by red. red never made a lens before, that's a fact, so they have hired a machine shop to put plastic sigma lens on aluminum barrels with some nonsense numbers written on them.

Pero claro que somos muchos Voludo!!! I have worked in Argentina every season for the last 4 years (mostly with US productions) and its being the best destination each year. Next november ill be moving there. for at least 6 months. im going with my 435 Extreme package, Vary-Prime SET, RED 4K Package AND ALIEN REVOLUTION. My idea is to eventually move there so my son can do his Hi-school in the same type of environment that i grew up in Colombia. Now i live between miami & NYC. But the jobs here are getting worst and worst every month since 2.000 i guess it took me 9 years to realize that the Best American Dream might be easier to achieve in south America.

Remember this FIRST. The Steadicam is NOT a TOOL. TOOLS anybody can buy at home depot and used them in a couple of hours. i could teach 90% of the worlds population to drill holes or cut 90 degree angles. The Steadicam is an Instrument. You cant just go buy a violin, saxophone or piano and start playing with a professional orchestra a week, month or year later. Its Not the Arrow what matters. Its the Indian. However you should do one smart investment instead of throwing your money down the drain. GAP
