  1. I know it cost lots to produce a new film stock . But I do think its about time Kodak did that !! A faster stock 800/1000 iso , a touch of grain would be nice ! Any thoughts ?
  2. But that is because most using very high def digital so need to soften the image a bit ! This was shot on film , so not needed to me , I have not seen the film . Love Linus work , but a big fan of any of the Directors work .
  3. Anyone know how much Colour Neg Kodak is producing a year , format is not important .
  4. In the UK Ilford B+W film stock was used a lot in the U.S. apart from Kodak , there was Dupont stocks , Ferrania in many parts of Europe.
  5. I think a lot of this was shot with a deeper focus that you think and then in post the backgrounds were de-focused a lot giving the shallow focus look it has.
  6. Last night I watched " Once upon a time in Hollywood" Looks beautiful shot on film and Panavision . Here it comes. It now has proved to me that Tarantino is the most overated film maker for a long time . I await the flak !

  8. I know David Watkin was offered it but turned it down , due to fact that in the original script there was a lot of scenes set at at sea and he hated working on the ocean !

  12. The Russians had a 65mm stock called Sovcolor.
  13. I think they would have been C series Panavision anamorphics .

  15. It was Anamorphic using Cooke lenses and it was an Italian company.
