  1. I'm currently in my second year of film school at Sheridan college on Oakville, Ontario. We had an assignment in our camera class to do a shot recreation. I pitched the idea of shooting a shot from the intro of watchmen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKqXL_LEnnE The shot I picked to re create is at 1:45 I had an awesome production designer who I worked with to build the set in a studio.. We did a fast dolly move shooting at 80fps with the Arri SR-2. The film is currently in the lab but I have a recording off of our monitor... Please let me know what you think! I will post the final shot as soon as it comes back from processing. Mike Rilstone
  2. I heard this awhile ago and don't know if its surly true or not but the shot looks amazing. In the film lock, stock and two smoking barrels, the scene where the main character has just lost the poker game the DP taped the tripod to the hips of the actor and had a cam assist support it. I would defiantly go with the doggicam rig though lol
