Here is my 2014 DP reel. It's a combination of music videos and commercials. All my project shot on the red epic, red scarlet, and Canon 5D mrk III. Any feedback is welcomed... <embed src="https://vimeo.com/85780201" autostart="false" />

Check out this project that I worked on as the DP. With the small skeleton crew that we had, I am very happy with the results. Please take a look and enjoy. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Overhead Lighting w/ HMI Pars
Denis Dufresne replied to Mark Klassen's topic in Lighting for Film & Video
if you can fit it within your budget, Why not either replace or add "spacelight" to your lighting package. They always work great for overhead lighting. -
I shot a spec commercial with my crew a couple of weeks ago. Please tell me what you think. Feedback is appreciated, Thanks! Chanel Spec.

I've attach a picture to this post. But, I am trying to achieve a similar lighting setup to this photo. I what them to be mostly backlit with with little to no light leaking towards the front. And also, I have a little cash to play around with when it comes to equipment. So, any help would be great full... I was original thinking about rigging 5-6 single bulb kinos to the ceiling and dimming them with ND. And using "Leko" to bring up the light in the background This scene will mostly be underexpose...and mostly backlit...

Denis Dufresne replied to Denis Dufresne's topic in Lighting for Film & Video
Cool...Thanks for the comment. -
Im curious to how they achieved the moving light effect in this music video. It moves back and forth or side to side. Drake - Take Care ft. Rihanna

Hey, Thanks for the advice. I looked into the coral filters and it seems like its what im looking for. Once again thanks. -
I need help achieving this color. It's a chocolatey color with dusk/dawn look. Im not sure wether I can just do the color correction/grading in post or try to achieve it while I am shooting during production. Any advice/pointer would help. yea you guys are right. Its just that in the area I'm in, there is work but they rarely follow up with you even if you volunteer your services and follow up with them daily. (sighs) And the school I'm in, I feel like I've outgrown it to a point there is nothing left for them to teach me. I would love to attend NYU or USC but money ain't looking right. But if I get up more than I fall down opportunity should be knocking at my door soon. Thanks for the advice.
