  1. Ive recently started filming with an HDC-SD9. The one of few cameras in that line that uses 3CCD's instead of a straight CMOS. Now as far as formats are concerned I want to ask has anyone had issues editing in this format? And is it worth it to invest in something like neo scene from cineform (which is recommended but by the douches that promote for these companies)? Also does this format or this program degrade the image or am I worrying too much?
  2. Im having alittle trouble embedding and not on my mac...... Please critique the shots only. This was done the quickest and dirtiest way possible. If theres any questions or input on what lighting couldve helped I would accept them. Currently I have two 105w soft boxes Im planning to use for just brightening. I want to read alittle more and be on a few more sets before I really start buying more.
  3. Did you use the skateboard dolly at all? Or was it so little trouble you didnt have to mention it? I had been thinking about building one of those or the regular caster dolly. Just based on time to build and price. Also the jib did it happen to be something that looked like a PA speaker tripod with a simple tilt mechanism? I had seen something similar on ebay but am still questioning buying it.....
  4. Ive seen shoots like this happen quite frequently from reputable people. Its filler stuff mostly and they just tried to take you in for the ride. I once saw a prod. lose himself pretty bad when he transitioned from a location with a location agreement to just outside the gates of the facility where he though he was in safe territory and got stopped from filming. Oh and hey Adrian...... I can see why you like this forum.....
