Kodak have announced the discontinuation of 7265 plus-x reversal (in 16mm and Super 8) as well as Plus-x Neg in 16mm and 35mm.

Its a sad day.

Just had a look at the discontinuation notice - I see the 16mm 100ft rolls have been affected too. Is it just the 2R ones?

When looking through the viewfinder if the K3, I've noticed that there seems to be slightly more flicker than usual, when at 24fps, it looks more like 22fps of flicker. I could always just adjust the frame per second to 26 to account for it. But I was hoping to fix it, is there a way I can measure the frame speed?

Or is it better if I just get it all serviced?

You've probably seen a making of by now, But from what I saw, they used a camera like mine ( a simple russian krasnogorsk) although I believe they used Arriflex's, which like the krasnogorsk have variable frame rates, so that you can change the speed while you shoot. My guess would be that this is most likely how they did it.

I have bought two rolls of the new Vision 3 250D 16mm stock, I'm getting it processed at warner roadshow studios on the gold coast, I'm not sure whether they do affordable telecine work, but I was wondering if any of you know of places that would do the telecine and the approximate cost?
