I have an old tamron SP adaptall 2 35-80mm lens for my nikkormat 35mm slr still photo camera. I was curious about whether or not I could find an adapter that could mount this lens to my Canon Rebel T2i. Is this possible? If so, which adapter would I want to purchase?

I will be purchasing a rebel t2i for use in a short film and I'm wondering which lens or set of lenses I should purchase. Money is a concern so I was wondering what the best value is as well.

When i have tried to burn dvd's in iDVD it comes out unable to show the full 16:9 image on my TV. It cuts off either end of the image and displays it in 4:3. How do I solve this problem?

I realize this is a cinematography forum but I was curious about what the going rates are for sound designers. The short film I'm making will require high quality sound design as it has no soundtrack and takes place in the wilderness with plenty of ambient sound throughout. Obviously I want it to sound completely natural and consistent and I don't have the sound design know how to achieve this.

I'm in the pre-production stages of a short film and I'm wondering what advice people have as to what camera I should buy. My budget is about $5,000 and obviously I want something that looks as close to film as possible. I realize HDV is going to fall short of film quality in any case but I don't want people to immediately dismiss my film because it looks too amateurish. I also want to use a micro lens for some inserts so I would need a camera with this capability. Which direction should I go in?
