They said I would need to bring the light in to have something attached to do the job. I'd much prefer to just an adapter or other method of DIY then spend the $ and have the light somehow "changed" in the their shop. Still hoping someone has done this more simply even if not as elegant (but obviously safe). Thanks again!

Hello and thanks in advance. Unfortunately, I do not have a proper K5600 joker bug, but I do have Filmgear's Boxer 800w HMI which looks awfully similar. Has anyone had any luck either using k5600's bug-a-beam adapter with filmgear's boxer, or found a similar way to attach it to an ETC source four? Fingers crossed.

This is probably not going to be as simple as I'd like it to be, but there are new 1000 watt equivalent LED bulbs designed to slide right in to existing AC lights (no retrofit required) and they have the same bi-pin base that Mole-Richardson tweeines use. Assuming they fit inside the can itself. It would be an easy back and forth between original tungsten and LED and without the cost of the retrofit. Manufacturer claims 3200k and 5600k available. Link to their PDF is posted below. Now... 1. Has anyone ever tried this? And what were the results? 2. I can confirm this works on perfectly on Arri BL4 and BL4S as well as BL3. I'm pretty sure the optics on the BL2 were the same thread size, but can't confirm. And have no idea about the original BL.
