  1. If anyone has any leads on anamorphic lenses in Arri Standard Mounts I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
  2. I have a wonderful Arri 35BLII kit which is a member of the family and I love very much. Looking for a recommendation for the nearest (Seattle, WA area) trusted/knowledgable outfit for a "health check" who would still have maintenance parts. Also, many years ago I remember several people who did a PL mount conversion to this camera (mine is the standard Arri mount) and every time I bring this up recently everyone tells me, "Don't do it!" Probably too much money to throw down the well but is there anyone left with the ability to do this well . . . and not turn the camera into a machined paperweight? Thanks for your input in advance.
  3. My life changed today! I used to pray to the shrine of Terrance Malick, now I pray to the Shrine of Richard Boddington!
  4. I'm currently searching for 2 - 30v battery belts or the older style (the tank with a handle) for my Fries Mitchell. The new ones are $$$$$$$$ and the rest need to be re-celled. If anyone has any leads they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  5. I have done this several times in the past. I always use a bulk back on either a Pentax or Nikon and that way you have 20-30' to work with and lab is happy. Of course you might have to educate the lab on how to open the bulk back light tight spools the first time you take it in. Don't wind the film onto a core, just take the Nikon or Pentax spool in. I've only had one problem with this. The lab tech couldn't figure out how to open it to get the film out. Simple fix though. One lesson and their good!
  6. Which motor is that with the camera? What are you asking for the package? Shipping to the USA? Thanks, Bruce
