I've used Athos Insurance for the past four years. I haven't had to make a claim yet, but they've been very easy to work with and every rental house that I rent from has been fine with it.
Yup...same here. I had a million questions and they answered every single one.
Ask for Katherine Wong.

Awesome, Tim!!!

So sorry to hear of his passing. GoodFellas (1990) was the first of his films that I saw, but the atmosphere of The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) is my all-time favorite.
Rest in peace, Michael.

Looks like a great package! Good luck, Richard!

Scott, I assume you were attaching the XLR cable in to the rear of the camera?...

Develop the film. Worst case, it's not salvageable.

I would have been there as well but I had a previous engagement that I could not cancel. In any case, thanks for the review. It doesn't seem to make much sense that they won't process 7222. If you're going to set up a film lab, at least set it up to process all of your 16/35 negative stocks.
If I need to process some 7222, I'll just send the entire order to Fotokem. And I live in Queens!

Plenty of cores and cans on ebay...

Amazing. That's some piece of history you have there.

Your best bet is to contact ARRI directly. They are very accommodating.

That's terrific, David!!! Congrats!!!

By the way, what camera do you own?...

Sometimes you can tell just from the pre-production stage, and from how organized the director is. What kind of budget does the production have? How much of that is going into the camera department, etc.?...
As Adrian said, all you can do is your very best, especially if you have a limited amount of tools to work with.

Thanks again, guys!

Hi everyone. I've been trying to determine what support system would be best for my ARRI SR-2. At a given time, I would have the following accessories attached to it:
- ARRI Dovetail, Sliding Base-plate & 15mm rods
- SR-II Follow-focus
- MB-17B 4x4 matte-box
I have don't have any long lenses. I've been looking at Sachtler items, primarily, and I want to make sure I get spreaders, too.
I'm willing to pay for quality items (3K - 5K,) so if anyone can advise me, I'd appreciate any thoughts.
Thanks in advance.

If you shot wide-open, the ASA setting kind of becomes a non-issue. I haven't shot Super-8 in about 20 years, but yes - the ASA dial is usually just to set the internal meter.

Finally! The level of immaturity on there always boggled my mind.

They are expensive, yes. Have you tried ebay?...

Really nice! My only critique would be that the image is too de-saturated. What did you shoot with?...
