  1. The Stanley Kubrick Exhibit is now at LACMA in Los Angeles - November 1 2012 - June 30, 2013 http://www.lacma.org...stanley-kubrick I haven't been yet but am going today, but my friends who went yesterday reported that the lens and camera gear portion of the exhibit are enough to blow your mind, much less Stanley's notes and various props, etc from the films. We all watched The Shining and Dr. Strangelove together last night.
  2. I thought this looked amazing: Kassim the Dream Kassim was kidnapped and forced to be a child soldier in Uganda. He defected when he came to the US with a military boxing team for a competition and went on to be come a world champion boxer.
  3. *replying back months later- The Carrions - Sunshine Everyday actually lensbaby composer with the 5D, mostly in the shots of the singer/guitarist.
  4. Does any one know if you can somehow get RCA video source recorded to a Flip or other such small video recorder? Are there interfaces or adapters? Prefer to capture PXL 2000 camera footage some other way than having to lug a Hi-8 camera along. This is how we did our previous PXL short. We like the look we get with the PXL 2000 but want to record to something other than a cassette tape. Thanks for any thought or ideas on how to manage this.
  5. = "poor-man's" tilt-shift I recently helped on a music video where a lensbaby, I think it was the composer, was used with a 7D though I've yet to see the footage, it's in edit. I also have a friend who has a lensbaby and 7D I was discussing trying to shoot a music video with. I can check to see if he will let me do a camera test and share footage with you.
  6. My friend Clifford Novey and I made an 8.5 minute experimental short for the PXL 19 film fest Would like to know what you think.
