  1. Hi, Way back, I thought I saw a 4x4 filter frame which holds a series nine filter. It had a hole in the middle for a series nine filter and the 4x4 frame fit into a matte box system. Has anyone seen one of these? Who makes it? Thanks!
  2. Hi, does anyone have the wiring diagram for connecting the tram omni lav to an Audio Technica ATW-T310 wireless body pack? Tram has no support on the manufacturer's page and the dealers don't want to answer questions about a mic they didn't sell.
  3. Hi, thanks for all of the replies. When I posed the question, I thought the Arri 1200 watt fixture would be the same size as their 1000 watt tungsten fixture. Turns out that the Arri 575 HMI fixture is the same size as their 1000 watt tungsten fixture and the Arri 1200 HMI fixture is a size up from that, having a 6.9 inch lens and a 9 inch scrim/barn door assembly. Also looks like Arri makes a Studio series of fixtures which are one size up from the Compact Plus series. So I'll withdraw the question about running a 1200 watt HMI bulb in the 575 fixture.
  4. Hi, can I use a 1200 watt bulb in an Arri 575 watt HMI fresnel fixture with the proper 1200 watt ballast? Is there anything different about the igniter? Thanks!
  5. Not too long ago I was shopping for a 1200 watt par hmi bulb and now I can't find the deals. Can anyone recommend an economical source of these bulbs? Thanks!
  6. Hi, does anyone make a 4x4 frame into which a series nine filter can be placed? I seem to remember a picture of one but don't know who made it. Thanks.
  7. Hi, what are fairly good and bad test numbers for short ends? For example, 12-63-102? I know blue is the third number and goes bad (higher number) quicker than the first two. Thanks.
  8. Hi, I'm looking for a fotokem color chart; my assistant lost the last one.
  9. Which lens do you have? Mine is the Angenieux 9.5 to 95 with long viewfinder (for dolly or tripod use).
  10. Hi, could you tell me why you are shooting 7218 if you need very contrasty feeling with deep shadows? Have you already picked 7218 for the rest of the movie which is not going to be contrasty with deep shadows? Any discussion would help.
  11. Yes, the back of the lens fits the cup part and the cup fits the c-mount of the camera. The lens can be removed from and replaced onto the camera without touching the c-mount part. The lens has its own viewfinder so the lens can work on any regular c-mount camera without the need for reflex/mirror/prism viewing system in the camera.
  12. Hi, Anybody know where I can find a lens mount for the Angenieux 9.5 to 95 zoom? This is the bayonet mount which attaches to a c-mount on a 16mm camera (CP-16) by an internal threaded ring. There is a recess cut into the mount to accomodate the typical Angenieux side viewfinder. Thanks, C.J.
  13. Hi, I'm looking for an Angenieux lens mount which is a cup which fits a CP-16 c-mount. The cup is attached to the camera by an internal threaded ring into the c-mount threads. The lens fits bayonet style into the cup. There is a cutout in the cup to accomdate the side viewfinder of the lens. I am hoping to find a used or spare part. Thanks, C.J.
