  1. I have a Sekonic C-700R with the PocketWizard trigger for sale. $1200 shipped and PayPal'd. Located near New Orleans.
  2. I shot a commercial on Red and had it graded in Davinci by a big post house in town with several very large film credits under it's name. The colorist didn't understand what I was asking when I told him to make the adjustments in "raw". I had to look it up on Google myself and show him how to change the color temp and other things in a raw menu inside of the Davinci itself. He said "we don't do it this way". I told him I didn't care how he normally does it, I wanted the major color adjustments done in raw then we can make tweaks his way.
  3. A Reel Efx DF-50 hazer works great for this. You will need a light outside the window. I usually use a Cinepar HMI. If you can't afford or don't have access to a hazer you can burn a small piece of paper in the room. You just want a touch of smoke/hazer. Do it right before you roll then use a flag to spread to quickly spread it around.
  4. The only way NOT to disable the LCD on the back of the camera is to use a USB cable running to a laptop and use the EOS software to monitor the signal on the laptop. In theory, you could run a 15ft USB to a DIT station then wifi that to ipads and iphones using the DSLR remote app. I tested that setup in studio and it actually works. My producer loved the concept. I have not been able to test it in the field.
