  1. Thank you! I needed to know the term used to define this kind of effect and now I have it - 'light leaks'. Now I need to find a way to apply this effect post-production. I have never really experimented with film cameras, although I really should. I have discovered a plugin for After Effects and Final Cut Pro called Magic Bullet Suite. Do you know of any other ways to implement this kind of effect in either of those two software packages? I have only just installed these on my machine and I don't really know which I should be using for editing my videos.
  2. Thank you! I agree completely with all of your feedback. You've been really helpful :) I didn't edit any of the video. It was taken straight from my camera. I didn't see many settings for video on my DSLR, other than things like frame rate. I understand how a camera takes pictures but I guess I need to develop my understanding of how video works. Since receiving your comments I have invested some time into looking at how After Effects and Final Cut Pro will help to enhance my video work. Thanks again :) Oliver
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dz_yMa4h1z4 I have always used my DSLR for photography but the other day I tried to make a music video and this is how it turned out. What's good and what's not? I would appreciate your thoughts :) Oliver
  4. I am trying to achieve the effect seen in this video: And more prominently in this video: How is this done? Oliver
