  1. I finally saw True Grit and Inception. They were both really good. My top three for best cinematography overall would be Inception, Black Swan, and The Social Network.
  2. Yes, of course; however Cronenweth still did fantastic work on Se7en...as cam op and additional photography. The guy's got a spot on resume, that's for sure!
  3. I wasn't too sure how I was going to like The Social Network but in my opinion, Jeff Cronenweth's cinematography made the viewing of it very enjoyable. He's the guy who did fantastic work on films such as One Hour Photo, Fight Club, and Se7en. Matthew Libatique, whose work is also amazing, did an outstanding job on Black Swan. I loved the visuals during the dancing sequences. I don't know much about ballet, and dancing is definitely not my strong suit; but I felt, as an audience member, as though I was actually spinning and twirling right there on stage alongside Portman! The cinematography sets the ominous mood of this film very well. I still haven't seen True Grit and some of the others. I need to get out more!
