Anyone know of any black and white HD telecine services in London and what the approximate costs will be? I intend to get 10 x 400ft rolls of Kodak Eastman Double-X stock telecined to HD. If anyone has any recommendations of labs that process and telecine it, that would be great. Thanks.

Or could I just block off the left and right sides of the lens with black wrap or something?

Thanks for the replies guys. Instead of changing the groundglass (which I'm told is expensive), or renting a different camera with a 4:3 aspect ratio, how could I go about shooting 4:3 with the SR2? Anything I can do to the viewfinder or when framing the shot? Thanks again for the help.

Hi there. I was wondering if the Arri SR2 is capable of shooting in a 4:3 aspect ratio, as opposed to its native 16:9 ratio. If it is possible, how does one go about shooting in 4:3? Thanks for any help.

I was wondering if anyone knew of the film stock used in the film Le Samourai (1967)? The film has washed out colours with a cyan tint, a predominant look of a lot of late 60s and 70s thrillers and cop films. If anyone knows the stock used in this particular film, or any stock that yields a similar look for 16mm, please let me know. Thanks.
