  1. Here's one option to help sync your sound. A frame-sync'd click track. http://www.super8sync.com/super8sync/Shooting_Film.html
  2. This site is a good reference if you haven't seen it already. - http://lavender.fortunecity.com/lavender/569/negtoposdeveloper.html I mix up my own baths as needed and it's very simple to do if you start with D-19 as your base developer. I only had to acquire the sodium thiocyanate, potassium dichromate, sulfuric acid and sodium sulfite. I _am_ aware that it may be harder to get some of those item in Europe, so I sympathize with you. Using film isn't as easy as it used to be. :(
  3. If the contrast between your subject and the sky is beyond the capability of your camera to reproduce then one or the other has to be compromised. There are probably more options to increase the brightness of your subject (lighting, etc) than decrease the brightness of the sky.
  4. Chem stability depends greatly on storage conditions as well as how much oxygen it's exposed to. Storing them in air tight containers (you can also displace some of the oxygen in a partially full bottle with a bit of canned air or nitrogen) in a cool, dry environment will work better then a hot, humid environment. That said, I've had better luck with my E6 chems than with the C41. The E6 has lasted months in partially full bottles where the C41 part C developer oxidized within weeks. :(
  5. I know these are getting fairly rare, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm looking to buy a Superior Bulk Film Co. Super 8 Daylight processing tank (not the regular 8/16mm tank). If anyone has one or has seen one for sale (I'm already watching eBay), shoot me a PM. Thanks! -- David N.
