It seems as adjusting the loop former screw is what I need to be doing but I am having trouble finding the right position for i have tried it many times and it is still having the same problem where the claw is missing the film sprockets

I dont know what its called but the thing under the pressure plate that seems to pull the film by the gate is what is causing my problem it misses the sprockets and damages the film, so if anyone knows what I should do please let me know

Hi, I got a new Sbm and havent used it yet but when loading the film it jams when passing through the pressure plate and ends up cutting up the sprockets of the film and the film itself. Does anyone know what is happening here? or has anyone had this problem before? thank you

what kind of filter do you need to use for the filter slot on a bolex sbm?

Hi i was wondering if anyone has used a century cinetar 3.5mm on a bolex 16 or a sbm with bayonet to c adapter? and if so how does this lns work on the bolex16 did you recieve any vignetting?

Hi, I was wondering if there was any way to take the whole front lens off of a vx2000 and replace it with the front of a sony vx1000. What I am trying to achieve is a sony vx2000 that has a front bayonet mount of 52mm without using a step down ring. The reason for doing this is centurys .3x fisheye lens works a whole lot better on a vx1000 then on a vx2000, but the vx1000 sucks in all other ways besides the lens. I have seen someone modify their dvx100 by rigging it with a c mount or some other cine lens mount so they could use other lenses. I am probably crazy and this would never work but anyone who knows of a place that could do this or a way to do this please tell me. thank you
