  1. Hello all, I am a vfx supervisor starting an episodic that is very dark and very rainy. Ive been doing the supervisor gig for a couple of years now but I have mostly had the pleasure of working with vfx friendly digital camera's (Alexa, ect)with very little film experience. Because of the mood of the show (and network preferance) we will be shooting 35mm Kodak 5218 vision 2, and because of the deal they are getting on the stock they are not Production is gettig a package deal on this stock and I will have to work with it. I have done one pilot (Very small) with the same camera and stock specs, alas I have a few questions: 1) For this stock what is the ideal speed to rate it at for GS ? I understand its a fast stock which is not as GS freindly but unfoutunately I am forced to work with it. 2) I will be doing a fair bit of driving composites against GS throughout the season, spfx torrential rain is neccesary in this show. Last time i shot like this i was getting some crazy edging on the matte and horrible keys even when over exposing the green to compensate. suggestions ? 3) Any other suggestions for shooting GS/BS with this stock on a very dark and wet show would be greatly appreciated.
