Im completely new into lighting ,and i was wondering how can i achieve lighting like in this scene for the shooting of a short movie, i mean for the gears used and the positioning of lights

iam planning to study documentary film-making,there are dozens of programs around europe and US,but i think studying this sort of film-making would be better in europe "spain or france maybe"...any advises??
