  1. It is still available. If interested, I am located in Hollywood, we can arrange something for anyone to test shoot it or see it before buying. Thank you everyone.
  2. I'm selling my Optar 9.5mm t/1.3 that I purchased from Alan Gordon last spring. I've used it only a few times, so is in perfect condition. I recently sold my s16 camera, and have no use for the lens anymore. I'm selling the lens for 1000 dollars. If interested, please pm me. Thanks.
  3. Try Visual Products as well. Ask for Peter. He is great.
  4. Oh yea, my Cooke lens is not included. It's just the camera body, Barney and 2xmags. I also have an Optar 9.5mm that I can sell with the camera for an additional 500 so, 1300 dollars. I will try to upload a new pic today. Thank you for the heads up Mark.
  5. I worked with C300 on a weird Toyota documentary shoot recently. I thought the camera was pretty light. I personally prefer heavier rigs myself. I shot with BL 4s w 1000ft loads and a Cooke 20-100 handheld on a shoot all day maybe that's why haha. It seemed a bit too flimsy to me. The pictures weren't bad at all though. It felt like my first time grabbing an f55. It looks like a fuller size camera but weighs like a feather... It was odd indeed:)
  6. Tobin TXM 14 Here is the link to the EBay listing http://m.ebay.com/itm/Eclair-NPR-s16-Hard-Front-PL-mount-and-extras-/262408852449?nav=SELLING_ACTIVE
  7. Price reduced to 800 for the camera package without the lens.
  8. It also comes with a barney that was specially made by Custom Upholstery.
  9. Eclair NPR with hard front Pl mount w/ 2 magazines and an Angeniuex viewfinder is for sale. The groundglass is marked for 1:66, 1:85 and 2:35. The camera was overhauled by Visual Products last summer, and runs flawlessly. The markings were made at Visual Products. The package comes in 2 orange hard cases. If interested, I can sell it for a bit more with an Optar 9.5mm lens, which I purchased from Alan Gordon last spring. If interested, pm me. Thank you.
  10. Yes, you described me perfectly Ari Michael Leeds or whatever your name is haha. Name dropping? Whose name have I dropped? Don't worry about it. I'm not interested in getting into some posting battle with you "Ari Michael Leeds."
  11. Ari is at it again... What do you mean by film negative should not be underexposed by more than 2 stops? On the basis of what? What if that's the level of darkness you wish to see in the end? Are you talking about not being able to lift the image without introducing "too much" grain? Have you really tested each and every stock to come to this conclusion? You make all these statements, but, unfortunately, we haven't yet seen one piece of material from you. Please share one, so maybe we can all learn something about "correct" cinematography. You claim to be a "loader." I didn't know loaders were also cinematographers... Who do you work with? Any particular ACs or DPs?
  12. Out of curiousity, what are you going to name your new line of film stock? Triple-Y perhaps? Please let us know.
  13. Connor, you should do whatever you desire. It's your money, health and time. You seem to be a my way or highway type person. Good luck.
  14. It looks fine to me. What kind of lens did you use? Using sharper lenses help as well. if you resolve finer details in an image by shooting on sharper lenses, you could make it appear less grainy as well.
  15. Connor, once again, I suggest you read some books to gain information on film and what goes into shooting on film etc. Not to be harsh but you do have some wild ideas. Best of luck.
  16. Connor, I think you should read some books first before worrying about what type of camera you should get. Buy a decent film stills camera, take pictures to learn exposure and composition.
  17. 175 or so per 400ft, which is 11 mins. So 525 dollars is for 1200 ft of film.
  18. Bruce, how's the optical finder in comparison to a 535 or an Arricam? In terms of brightness.
