About Me

I am very interested in photography and cinematography. Particularly the photographs of Robert Frank, Gary Winogrand, Kodelka, Cartier-Bresson, Manuel Alvarez bravo, Kertesz (and the others). I love the camera mechanism and am keenly interested in maintaining and repairing the cameras that I use. I have rebuilt my Leica M2 and Fuji GSW and am just starting to learn about the movie camera mechanisms.

I love to shoot film and have shot, edited and projected since I started using my Dad's super 8 Braun camera in the 70's. I have always loved the Arriflex 16s and have just starting shooting film with this. My subjects are usually my three grown children when they are around and the house that I built and the surrounding trees, gardens, project boats and cars.

I am currently focusing on the repair of some Beaulieu C16s and some Cine Kodak Specials.
