  1. Hello, i have been speculating for a while now on where i would like to go with my boring little life, i have considered being an electrician, a sound engineer, a mechanic, a web designer, but there all just too dam boring, i have tried them all but they just don't do it for me. So i have stepped back to think about what i really want to do, and i always come to the conclusion i want to do something i enjoy. Who doesn't? and not just do it for the money. And one thing i have always appreciated is films, just getting lost in the story. I love to watch what goes into each film, behind the scenes, interviews with the cast and director, so i thought to myself why don't i go into what i really appreciate? Now i have had experience with camcorders, but not these pretty cinematography beasts, i don't know where to start when it comes to gear, so this is where i need help, is the 35mm or super 8 cameras the way to go for professionals? whats the difference between the two? any particular brands or models? I know i am not a pro, but i would like to start on a pro camera so i can get used to the controls etc, budget isnt much of an issue as long as they are worth the money! cameras over 35k are out of the question though! another thing, is the good ol fashion tape being used today?! or is it recorded directly onto a hdd? please have patience with me, i am really interested in getting to know you guys, i would appreciate your help and tips? what programs to you edit your films in? etc
