  1. Hello, Can anyone help me out and suggest which camera settings best suit the Canon XH G1 when shooting green screen? All advice is welcome. Thank you , Ben Ivy
  2. I am scheduled to do a light set up for a "black theatre" type of set - the entire room is about 11x14 , so it's a good decent amount of space. My only dilemma is that I don't want to flood the room with LED black light panels, but I'd still need to get sufficient lighting to get neon colors to show up brightly on the EX3 camera. If anyone has suggestions as to how to set up the room, I'd be forever in gratitude. Thanks.
  3. Does anyone know of teleprompters that can support smartphones and tablets? It would be neat to find some for easier script uploads and faster handling, don't you think? - Ben Ivy
  4. Thanks for the quick response, Bill. I shall look into it asap.
  5. During my time at the Art Institute, I wrote and directed two short films. I would most definitely like to submit into film festivals, because I truly deem them the shorts worthy of some recognition - not to mention my crew and I worked our butts off! I'd like to find out more about the submission process for this. If anyone has info on it ( websites, other forums, etc.), I'd truly appreciate the feedback. Thank you kindly! -Ben Ivy ;)
  6. SO, I, like many others have recently graduated from The Art Institute, Los Angeles, with a bachelor's degree in digital filmmaking and video production. During school, I learned through hands-on training, rather than text and made many contacts while there - internships, friends, the whole deal. However, trying to find a steady job in the industry has come up to be a hassle. How do most people get their foot in the door after graduation??? Tips, suggestions, comments are more than welcome!
  7. I've definitely seen this - ironically, it was during my music video class - and we actually analyzed the video in it's literal term, and questioned the director's original concept. Aside from that, all I had to say was - too friggin' funny!
